The Berkley Council on Aging (BCOA) has been in existence since 1973 when it was authorized at the Annual Town Meeting to carry out programs designed to meet the needs of the elderly in Berkley and in cooperation with programs from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Elderly Affairs.
Services are provided with funding from municipal grants, private donations and volunteer services. Many of our programs are offered for free or have a minimal charge to our elderly residents.
To qualify as a senior citizen you must be age 55 or over.
