Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026 for Berkley Common Halloween, an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun with Town departments, community organizations, activities, trick-or-treating, and more!
Sensory-Friendly Half Hour | 4:30–5:00 PM
We’ll open the event a little early for a sensory-friendly half hour for children and families who would benefit from a quieter, less stimulating environment.
During this time, there will be no music or flashing lights, and we’ll keep activities quieter before the main event gets underway.
🎃 Main Event | 5:00–7:30 PM
Wear your costumes and come join us around the Berkley Common! We’re planning:
- 🍬 Trick-or-treating
- 👻 Halloween games and activities
- 🚒 Berkley Police, Fire/Rescue, Library, Town Hall and other Town departments
- 🎃 Community organizations
- 🚚 Food trucks and more to be announced!
We’re still working on a few fun additions and will publish a complete lineup and event layout as we get closer.
🍬 We Need Candy — Lots of It!
We’re expecting a great turnout, which means we’re going to need a lot of candy!
Town Hall is accepting donations of individually wrapped candy to help keep our trick-or-treat stations stocked throughout the evening.
Candy donations can be dropped off at the Town Administrator’s Office at Berkley Town Hall during regular business hours. Every bag helps, and we appreciate the community’s support!
🚧 North Main Street Closure
To allow for event setup and provide a safe pedestrian area around the Common, North Main Street in the event area is expected to close at approximately 3:30 PM on Friday, October 30th.
Additional information regarding parking, pedestrian traffic flow, participating organizations, food trucks, activities and the event layout will be released as we get closer to the event.
