The Town of Berkley is represented on a number of regional and county-level boards and committees that make important decisions about funding, planning, education, and services. These roles ensure that Berkley has a seat at the table when choices are made that impact our residents.
How These Roles Are Filled
Some representatives are appointed by the Board of Selectmen, others are elected by Berkley voters, and still others are nominated by the School Committee. Each pathway ensures Berkley’s interests are represented fairly at the regional level.
If you are interested in serving as a representative in the future, please contact the Board of Selectmen’s Office or the Town Clerk for more information about openings and the appointment/election process.
