The Town of Berkley is pleased to announce that it has received an A1 bond rating from Moody’s Investors Service, press release attached to this posting.
This rating reflects the Town’s overall financial position, including its management practices, reserve levels, and long-term planning efforts.
The rating also acknowledges recent progress by the Town in strengthening financial oversight, including updates to internal controls and the engagement of a new auditing firm.
The Town also notes that the FY2024 Single Audit is now available on the Berkley budget microsite under “Documents and Presentations”. The completion and availability of this audit was an important step in the rating process and reflects the Town’s continued commitment to transparency and financial accountability.”
