Municipal Closure Notice – Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Berkley Town Hall, the Public Library, and the Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, to allow for more complete cleanup of roadways and municipal parking areas.
Travel conditions are improving and state restrictions are expected to ease; however, residents are strongly encouraged to refrain from travel unless absolutely necessary. Many secondary roads remain narrow, and additional snowfall is forecast for tomorrow morning.
Thanks in large part to the exceptional efforts of the Berkley Highway Department, the Town of Berkley is steadily recovering from what has been one of the largest winter storms to impact the region in more than half a century.
The Town also extends its sincere thanks to Berkley Fire/Rescue and the Berkley Police Department for their vigilance and responsiveness throughout this challenging weather event, and to the residents of Berkley for staying off the roads and helping crews do their work safely.
