The Town of Berkley Board of Selectmen voted on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, to approve significant revisions to the Town of Berkley Building Department fee schedule, effective April 1, 2026.
The updated fee schedule is intended to better match the actual cost of providing inspection and permitting services, while also supporting planned improvements to the Town’s permitting process, including future electronic permitting options.
Permit applications submitted on or after April 1, 2026, will be subject to the revised fee schedule.
Applicants are encouraged to review the updated fee schedule before filing, as several permit categories will see meaningful changes.
The revised fee schedule is available through the Building Department and Town website. Questions may be directed to the Town Administrator’s Office or the Building Department prior to submitting an application.
