Transfer Station Sticker Refund Program

The Town of Berkley will be accepting applications for refunds of Transfer Station Stickers for a limited period of time.

Residents seeking a refund must comply with the following requirements:

Application Process

  1. Complete a transfer station application form and clearly indicate “Refund Request” on the application.
  2. Surrender all Transfer Station Stickers for which a refund is being requested.
  3. Submit the completed application and stickers to the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.

Review Process

  • The Highway Department will verify all applications and surrendered stickers.
  • Approved applicants will be removed from the Highway Department’s transfer station records.
  • Following verification, the Treasurer/Collector and Accountant will process approved refunds.

Refund Distribution

  • Refunds will be issued by mailed check only.
  • No cash refunds will be issued.
  • Refunds will be processed through a consolidated bill schedule and will not be issued immediately upon application.

Important Deadlines and Conditions

  • Applications must be received by 2:30 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
  • Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted.
  • Refund applications will not be accepted at the Transfer Station window.
  • Incomplete applications may be denied.
  • The Town is not responsible for lost, incomplete, or improperly submitted applications.
  • The Town reserves the right to deny applications that do not comply with the requirements of the program.
