The Town of Berkley is proud to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. This is a once in a generation milestone and an opportunity for our community to come together, reflect on our shared history, and celebrate what makes Berkley such a special place to call home.

to call home. Join us for a full day on the Common with music, food, activities, and opportunities
for people of all ages to connect and celebrate together.


Quick Actions

Opening Ceremony

Join us as we officially kick off Berkley’s 250th celebration with our Road Race at 10:00AM followed by our Opening Ceremony at 12:00 PM on the main stage.

This moment will bring our community together to recognize the significance of this milestone, reflect on our shared history, and set the tone for a day centered on connection, pride, and celebration. We encourage everyone to gather on the Common and be part of this meaningful start to the day.

Road Race

Start your day with our 250th Anniversary Road Race.
The race will begin at 10:00 AM and is open to runners and walkers of all levels.

Music

Live music will take place throughout the day, bringing energy and community spirit to the Common.

We are excited to welcome the following performers:

Set 22 Acoustics from 1-2pm
The Southcoast Bell Ringers 2-3PM
Bonsarno Acoustic from 3-5pm


The Donnie Wilson Band from 5-6:30pm
The Freezepops from 7-9pm

Activities

There will be a wide range of activities throughout the day for all ages to enjoy. Planned activities include:

Touch a Truck
Games and family activities
Face painting
Community contests including the Apple Pie Baking Contest Bouncy houses and interactive attractions
Pony rides and petting zoo

We are also excited to welcome the BayCoast Bank Fun Bus, an interactive financial education experience for children and families.

We are excited to feature a variety of food trucks offering something for everyone throughout the day. Confirmed food vendors include:

Ming’s Asian Street Food and Bu’s Tap
Pop Brick Oven Pizza – 3-7pm or until sold out
Dorothy Cox Ice Cream
Truck Barrels and Boards – 12-7pm or until sold out
Birds Nest Italian Street Food Braised Food Truck – 3-7pm or until sold out
Aroma Joe’s – Swansea 12-4pm
Chamberlain Farms – 3-7pm or until sold out
Scoop-a-licious ice cream truck
